Carol Parks (she/her)
Food Roots Farm to School Education Specialist
Education Regional Hub Coordinator
Carol recently moved to Tillamook County from Florida and is excited about hands-on education in school gardens, equity and access to food systems, connecting local producers with school lunch programs, and supporting rural community resilience through farm to school programming.

Kailyn Schmidt (they/them)
Food Roots NW Procurement Coordinator
Procurement Regional Hub Coordinator
Procurement work is an opportunity to make community connections - farmers, producers, families, schools, and businesses all coming together to celebrate the best of our local bounty.
Food Roots is a community staple - we have the opportunity to work with so many folks doing so many different things. From the fishers to the farmers to the food producers to the local businesses, everyone is working hard to grow the region, to help others, and to find the best possible opportunities that exist.
